Last year we introduced Finalist Showcases to our annual schedule of Baker programming. These events provide an opportunity for those artists who have been identified as the best in their specific discipline to showcase their work with the Baltimore community.

Artists participation at these showcases is optional and have no impact on the awards. We invite you to join us for these exciting events to meet the finalists and get a taste of some of the best of what Baltimore has to offer!

Our first two showcases will take place April 8th and 9th.

Monday, April 8th at 7:00PM
Literary Finalists at Bird in Hand
Featuring: Maria Adelmann, Andria Cole, Leslie Harrison, Elizabeth Hazen and Jung Yun

Tuesday, April 9th at 7:00PM
Music Finalists at WTMD

Featuring Outcalls Band, Leitia VanSant, Von Vargas and Scott Patterson
